Ann grew up in California and taught high school English for 20 years before being called to the priesthood. She entered seminary in 2002, was ordained in 2005, and served two parishes before coming to St. Thomas in 2017.

Ann describes herself as “a collaborative person by nature. I also firmly believe that all people of faith, lay and ordained, are called to do God’s mission.”

Mike retired from the computer industry shortly after completing his certificate in Spiritual Direction. During that formation the call to ordained clergy was realized. His deacon formation took place in the Diocese of Oklahoma.

He and his wife Lauri (also a deacon) realized a long held dream and moved to Oregon in the summer of 2019.
