Our Rector, the 6th Rector of St. Thomas, is the Reverend Ann Gaillard.
Ann, who grew up in Whittier, California and the San Francisco Bay Area, came to us from the Episcopal Church of St. Luke the Beloved Physician in Saranac Lake, New York, where she had served as rector since 2008. Prior to this, she was Associate Rector at Christ Church in Media, Pennsylvania.
A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Stanford University, Ann received her M. Div. from The General Theological Seminary in New York. Before entering the ministry she taught English at private academies in Texas, Connecticut and Illinois. Ann (as she prefers to be called) also served as English Department Head at the prestigious William Penn Charter School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Ann describes herself as “a collaborative person by nature. I also firmly believe that all people of faith, lay and ordained, are called to do God’s mission.”
