Elizabeth Perez Student Musician

Young Musicians’ Program

Elizabeth Perez -- Young MusicanSt. Thomas is thrilled to welcome the third musician participating in our Young Musicians’ Program, which is made possible by a grant from the St. Thomas Endowment Fund. Our musician this Sunday, March 20, is Elizabeth Perez, a senior at Marist High School. Elizabeth grew up singing in both school and church choirs and started branching out to musical theatre starting in middle school. Elizabeth will be attending college for musical theatre and is working towards a career in performing arts. At our Sunday service today Elizabeth will be singing “OCEANS” (Where Feet May Fail) by Crocker, Houston, and Lightelm and “10,000 Reasons” (Bless the Lord) by Myrin and Redman.

Commemorating 9/11–A Service of Remembrance and Hope

In commemoration of one of the most important events in our nation’s recent history, St. Thomas is inviting you to attend this Sunday’s Eucharist which will focus on the themes of  remembrance and hope–remembrance of the victims and all others affected by the events of 9/11, and hope because we as Christians believe that God is good and Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection have redeemed all. Please join us at 10:00 a.m., in-person or on-line, for this special service.
