During this season of thanksgiving, we ask that you thoughtfully and prayerfully consider the reasons you attend services at St. Thomas Episcopal Church and consider the many blessings God has bestowed on you and your loved ones. As a foundation for your prayer, we suggest you consider the question: “What portion of my income is God calling me to give?”
To see pictures of your favorite St. Thomas players, go to the blue tab that says “October 2018 Beacon” found on the front page of this website and scroll to the end of the publication. Enjoy!

Come to worship and to celebrate with us on any Sunday in our lovely church, St. Thomas. Taking faith seriously and regularly getting involved with other like-minded people provides a major boost to well being. Simply being actively engaged in giving to a community is in itself a contributor to well being – but church brings together all three: faith, community works and social interaction. We would love to have you join us!
Mark your calendars for murder, mayhem and mystery!
Friday, September 14th, St. Thomas will host a “Mafia Murder Mystery” Dinner. Tickets go on sale August 12th. It will be a fun, fantastic and fabulous evening!
This Sunday, July 22nd, our Seminarian, Ryan Baker Fones, will be preaching at both the 8:00 am and the 10:00 am services. Ryan has reached the halfway mark in his studies toward his ordination and the entire congregation of St. Thomas is thrilled and proud of his progress.
As he begins his third year of studies in the fall, his focus will begin to shift from the academic and theoretical to the more practical and hands-on. Starting in September, he will be assigned to a different Episcopal Church in Eugene/Springfield to complete his required field education. This program will last one school year.
Ryan continues to be in our prayers as we know we are in his. We look forward to the joyous homecomings at St. Thomas on the occasions when he returns.
Come to St. Thomas’ rummage, craft, bake and raffle sale! Friday, August 24th and Saturday, August 25th.
We are a loving community of friends who are as close as a family. We come together in fellowship to worship, to share and to find strength for daily living. We seek to give to God and to those in need in our community and in the world.
We are fed by faith. We offer you a warm welcome. Come join us!
